Bill Dobson funeral

Bill Dobson sadly passed away on 17th February. His funeral is to be held on Tuesday 7th March at Whitley bay crematorium at 3pm. He was very well travelled on his blue supa 5 and will be sadly missed. Further information please contact me via email or home phone number details in club magazine

Camping Weekend, Miners Standard, Winster, 19th – 21st May

19th – 21st May 2023 – Notts and Derbys Section Camping Weekend
The Venue will be the Miners Standard pub, Winster, Derbyshire. Costs yet to be finalised by the venue but unlikely to be significantly more than last year’s costs at £6.00 tent/night. Arrival from 12.00 noon on day of arrival, departure p.m. on 21st. Rideout through scenic Derbyshire on Saturday or alternate ramble for those who fancy it. Pub meals available, also limited accommodation available at the pub. Attendees to pay camping fees directly to the pub. Sorry To do this again but the Kent Sunday Meeting will be a week Earlier at the Hollyville Cafe on 19 September 10 am to midday. If good weather we can have a ride out to somewhere near by. And for those Itching for a ride i will be at the Willesborough Windmill for Norman Day on the 26 September 10 to midday, Address Just of Junction 10 m20 Down Hythe Road. TN240QG..

Saturday 25 I will be at Headcorn Airfield for the Buzzing Club camp.

Events Diary

  • 8-10th October :- Clennell Hall Hotel not Riverside Holiday Park which is next to it. Camping fees £10 pppn I will be collecting the fees and arriving about 11am on Friday The hotel is next to Alwinton which is about 10 miles north west of Rothbury in Northumberland.From Rothbury take B6341 through Thropton and turn off near Wharton and through Harbottle, then just before Alwinton after a bridge take turning on right and follow road to hotel and Riverside Holiday Park. No need to book, pay when you arrive. Please could you let me know if you are coming! The site is on the edge of Northumberland National Park and the Otterburn military ranges.

Kanunidave

To let all Kent members know that i have changed the Sunday meeting place The Bull. To Meet at the Hollyville Cafe, West Kingsdown Nr Brands Hatch on the 22 August. This is the 4th Sunday. I will be there at 11am. It is a classic Bike meet every Sunday. If most turn up on bikes then we can have a ride out from there.

I have a list of my proposed section meetings for the next few months please note they are on the last Wednesday of the month. Please note if you are interested in attending any of these please contact me about 2-3 days before to check to see if they are going ahead.

I have changed my land line number a few months ago so the new one is 01912364673.

I have also booked up for our two normal camping weekends at Dent for the second weekend of the month. If you are intending to go please phone the site up to book and pay on arrival. The telephone number is 01539625239.

The weekend at Demesne farm Bellingham is now the last weekend in September 24-26th if you are planning to go to this one please book on line and pay a deposit of 50% on line with bacs or a cheque and the balance a week before the camping weekend.
