North Wales & Cheshire section stand-in rep

Hello everyone in MZ land
I am happy to announce that I am back in the committee but this time as the North Wales & Cheshire section stand-in rep.
You might remember that I was previously the Section reports coordinator but stood down and now it is done by the lovely Shea McQueen.

As you may or may not know, Terry Hyndman took a step back from this position and our previous chairman graciously was covering the post unit now.

As we can all agree James is a great member of this club and serves us well in everything he does but I offered to step in and he was happy for me to do so.

Sorry to say we still haven’t found a monthly spot to settle down in but after talking with a few members we are going to stick with The Golden Lion in Holt (what was previously the Peal O Bells) for now at least.

I hope that I can inject some new blood and ideas into the section and hopefully get some people attending again.

When the weather picks up a bit I will be looking at doing a ride out to end up at the meeting spot.

All ideas for the club section are welcome, as they say no idea is a bad idea, or something like that anyway.

I look forward to seeing those that can make it to the meet in the coming months and doing some writing for the section meets again but this time someone else can edit my work.

Covid19 Update

I have recently found out Demesne farm camp site at Bellingham has just opened for camping but any bookings must be competed on line and paid in full and no day visitors are allowed. The site has introduced new rules which are part of the booking in procedure. Highlanning farm at Dent has been open all the time since we were at the site in March but I have not be able to speak to them and have had no reply to my email from early July. I Don,t know if anybody turned up in July for our camp. When we start to have our section meetings again I am hoping to keep to our list from the beginning of the year but this could be subject to change so please contact me for up to date information. if you are planning to attend.
