As I have not used the bike for a year I thought it would be better going to a new home.Have owned the bike since 2005. Used for my commute to London 25 Miles a day.I have now retired.

It’s a 1994 MZ Saxon 500 with a 500cc Rotax engine.

Good points:- stainless exhaust system, Mikuni carb, new battery spare engine bottom end , gasket set 2 oil filters and a clutch cable, starter motor repair kit alarm. – see picture just added

Bad point gear return spring is broken but I have placed an external spring and it still shifts perfectly. Rev counter not working but replaced with a digital one. Will have a years MOT.

I have decided to part with my 1986 BMW R80(RT) Monolever. Which lost its full fairing etc in some earlier life! I acquired it 2007 and stored it until 2013 when it was extensively re-commissioned. New tyres; brakes; stainless pipes; cables; hoses; mirrors; Surefoot sidestand; battery. Everything that could be done, was sorted properly. Really good, comfortable and reliable runner. Nothing needs doing. Mechanically great. Paintwork is tired and has the usual ‘fairing marks’. MoT to March 2019. £1850 but will take reasonable offer from MZRC member.

Also available a complete fairing, with all brackets & bits, for an R80RT, although it will need painting; and a replacement screen. Even the headlamp glass has survived intact. Also BMW Panniers with brackets.
