MZ ETZ 250 for sale(Sold)

I have decided to sell my ETZ. Too many bikes and I need the room! The bike is a 1989 model with 21,000 miles on the clock. I have owned it for two years but I’ve done very few miles. I MOT’d it in 2017 and it passed with no advisories. Since acquiring it I have fitted a S/s down pipe and new silencer. It has electronic ignition and a Mikuni carb.The bike runs very well, quiet engine and all gears select. There is a slight oil weep from the gearbox but apart from that I can find no faults. Currently on SORN. I am looking for £1000.00 (firm) Pm me with any questions.

First registered May 2003. 4 owners including me. 16,884 miles. Yellow. MOT until March 2019.

Rescued by me from a spider infested shed in Trowbridge, the former steed of an old chap who could no longer ride and had put it away and forgotten about it.

Fully renovated by me with the exception of the engine which wasn’t broke so I didn’t mend it. Powder coated wheels and fork legs, new paint job in the original colour. New bearings throughout, bolts correctly torqued, threadlock, copper grease or left bare as appropriate and advised in the MZ manual. Too many new parts to list but I have all the receipts. Photograps of the work and a log of the work undertaken available. Fitted with a very rare rear carrier and top box although the box is a bit scruffy. I’m not going to try and sell it to you on performance or looks because anybody in the club will be aware of them being the best bike of their size and type on the market at the time bar none, Japanese included. I will be sorry to see it go but I’ve run out of garage space for my latest renovation project. I would prefer it to go to a Club member where it will be looked after. It deserves to be ridden and appreciated rather than sit in my garage being admired.

ETZ125 Engine for Sale or swap for TS150 engine

This is a latish ETZ125 (electronic ignition) engine. It has the alternator and the electric ignition module but no carb gear lever of electrics cover. Everything else is present. Just reassembled with new main bearings and seals and gaskets. Rest appears ok. £60 or would be happy to swap for an equivalent TS150 motor.

1986 BMW R80(RT) FOR SALE.

I have decided to part with my 1986 BMW R80(RT) Monolever. Which lost its full fairing etc in some earlier life! I acquired it 2007 and stored it until 2013 when it was extensively re-commissioned. New tyres; brakes; stainless pipes; cables; hoses; mirrors; Surefoot sidestand; battery. Everything that could be done, was sorted properly. Really good, comfortable and reliable runner. Nothing needs doing. Mechanically great. Paintwork is tired and has the usual ‘fairing marks’. MoT to March 2019. £1850 but will take reasonable offer from MZRC member.

Also available a complete fairing, with all brackets & bits, for an R80RT, although it will need painting; and a replacement screen. Even the headlamp glass has survived intact. Also BMW Panniers with brackets.

ES250 Bits for sale but would prefer to exchange for Trophy rear wheel

Please see pictures showing the ES250/2 Trophy parts which I have for disposal. Will sell but would prefer to swap for a decent Trophy rear wheel. All metal bits are sound and usable. The cowl includes the reflector mount with both clips present, complete and working. Be aware the badges are prints, not the correct cast items

Also have a very good 22t gearbox sprocket spare – need a 21t sprocket.

1993. 36890 km. Excellent condition. Tank, fairing and side panels professionally painted in two-pack. Stainless spokes, polished rims.
Single seat and tool box fitted but new dual seat included. New front tyre, rear tyre has 3.5 mm tread.
