An M reg dismantled Skorpion for sale in the Leyland, Lancashire area. The seller has stored this Skorpion in a dry condition for a friend who went to work abroad over 20 years ago but now wants to get rid of it. He has regularly turned over the engine and kept it well oiled. It will need to be registered but he says he will do it if required but he has been in contact with the DVLA and they have no problems concerning this bike. Changing circumstances mean that I am selling my almost finished project bike. I simply no longer have the time or space. The bike is complete but needs the wiring finished and checked, commissioned and registered.
I bought the incomplete bike as a box of bits in 2013. It was originally registered in UK but subsequently re registered in the Isle of Man. I have the IoM log book which records both registration nos.
I started a full scale rebuild that involved powder coating the frame, rebuilt suspension units with new dampers and springs, rebuilt wheels and new bearings, new tyres, exhaust system and speedo / rev counter instruments. New loom. Other parts too many to list.
As the motor was unknown (but did have good compression) I bought a new crankshaft / con rod, bearings, seals as well as a power dynamo system. However the engine seemed fine when eventually started. Paintwork (done by a previous owner) is good. Loads of other spares. I am looking for£895.00 for the bike. (I have bills for o/£1500) A great project for someone to complete. The bike is 99% complete but requires finishing, commissioning and registering. Complete history of spend and other images available.

1998 MUZ Silverstar Saxon 500 Rotax for sale.
This bike was bought new by my wife who later sold it to a friend and bought it back from his widow when he passed away.The bike has had little use 11,00kms and is in good condition for its age.
It has 2 owners on the log book and is Moted.
The petrol tank has been sealed. New battery last year. Comes with a new cam belt to fit, oil filters,parts manual ,engine manual and original tool kit.
The bike runs well but has a few faults like rust on the rims but it is 20 years old and has not been commuted.

Bad point gear return spring is broken but I have placed an external spring and it still shifts perfectly. Rev counter not working but replaced with a digital one. Will have a years MOT.

I have decided to sell my ETZ. Too many bikes and I need the room! The bike is a 1989 model with 21,000 miles on the clock. I have owned it for two years but I’ve done very few miles. I MOT’d it in 2017 and it passed with no advisories. Since acquiring it I have fitted a S/s down pipe and new silencer. It has electronic ignition and a Mikuni carb.The bike runs very well, quiet engine and all gears select. There is a slight oil weep from the gearbox but apart from that I can find no faults. I have decided to part with my 1986 BMW R80(RT) Monolever. Which lost its full fairing etc in some earlier life! I acquired it 2007 and stored it until 2013 when it was extensively re-commissioned. New tyres; brakes; stainless pipes; cables; hoses; mirrors; Surefoot sidestand; battery. Everything that could be done, was sorted properly. Really good, comfortable and reliable runner. Nothing needs doing. Mechanically great. Paintwork is tired and has the usual ‘fairing marks’. MoT to March 2019. £1850 but will take reasonable offer from MZRC member.
Also available a complete fairing, with all brackets & bits, for an R80RT, although it will need painting; and a replacement screen. Even the headlamp glass has survived intact. Also BMW Panniers with brackets.

I took the bike for the MOT test on 2nd August; after which I will be putting new front & rear tyres on and submitting for a re-test. I will confirm when (hopefully!) it has its new 12 months MOT.
The bike now has two new Bridgestone battlax tyres – and it’ s still only £1,600 o.n.o. If you are about 5’9″ tall, and have a 32″ waist with 32″ leg and 40″ chest, you can have a set of Akito leathers in very good condition for the asking price!

For Sale 1999 Suzuki 500 GS E

After 2 years of reluctant consideration I have decided to let go of my Suzuki GS 500 E bike I bought back in 2013.
To be honest I have not used it much since 2016 and it has been SORN for the last 2 years anyway, as I have several MZ’s in the garage and could do with the extra space (you will see if you come and look).
The colour is CK Orange (red to you and me), it benefits from an aftermarket full fairing same colour. In addition to this the buyer will get a small GIVI top box and GIVI carrier plus a few small spares I have collected.
At some point the exhaust end pipe was changed to a non performance Nexus pipe (chrome) and very tidy (no rust).
It had both tires replaced in 2013 and there is little milage on them and a new battery last year
If you include me the bike has been previously owned by 4 different owners and has covered only 31,509 miles so far, I have the V5C in my name plus the bill of sale from the previous owner and many MOT’s and original bike pack service schedule.
I would describe the condition as good / clean with only age related patina and I am sure it has not seen the deck as I cannot see anything obvious…..
So a good mid range tour or daily commute bike
I am looking for £850 to let it go to a good home.
