I never intended adding another MZ to join my 500R and Skorpion but it was a means to an end. I’ve unloaded a Norton Commando to a classic bike dealer in exchange for the Silver Star plus cash. The Star is 1994 but lived in The Craven Collection in East Yorkshire until 2008 when it was DVLA registered on an age related plate . Its had three keepers before me and I got it in November 2021. Since having it I’ve tidied it up, no major surgery required. New bits include alloy rims and stainless spokes, Tachometer, Clutch plates and springs, oil and filter change. The bike has been used not abused, ridden not hidden and hence has some age related marks or “patina” as its known. Tyres are good and it has OEM luggage racks. It rides very nicely. Two keys and historical paperwork are included.

Hi all
I’ve had a batch of MZ clutch tools made up – a clutch basket tool and the primary drive sprocket locking device, as shown in some workshop manuals (MZ part number 12-MW 5-3).
Means you can lock up the primary drive easily on the TS 125/150. As the clutches are so similar, will also be useful for an ETZ125/150 and I imagine also the ES125/150 (though I havent an ES engine to try).
Laser cut from 5mm mild steel plate. The primary drive tool is also cut from steel plate, so these 3 laminates will need bolting or welding together. There are holes spot-drilled to facilitate alignment.
Will be supplied as-cut (as per 2nd photo). I’ve just tried a couple (as shown) and they work well as is, but you may wish to spend a bit of time with the file tidying up the edges, and painting it.

ETZ 250 frame. I do not have the logbook, but the registration is active on DVLA, so a logbook can be applied for for £25. There is some rust; please study the pictures carefully; one of the seat front bolt lugs is partly rusted away, and the battery tray is pretty rusty as well. There is a unsightly but fairly sound repair to the stand tube on one side of the lower frame, and this area is slightly twisted. Basically sound but would benefit from some repairs.
