Carrog Winter Rally & Camp.
This is completely different than the summer camp at the same location as there is no raffle, no rideout, but just good beer, good pubs, good food, good bikes and good company. Don’t forget your hot water bottle!
We combine this event with the section AGM which takes place in the Grouse Inn, 10 minutes walk away, at 1230 on the Sunday. Everyone is welcome to join us. Usually, our section AGM lasts a minute or sometimes, if we are voting on something, 2 minutes. All Eastern Block members and enthusiasts welcome. This is to be hosted by the Northumbria Section.
The Rugby Club is located south of the town over the River Tyne next to Corbridge railway station which is signposted from the town centre. Further directions can be found on the rugby club website.
Please can you let me know if you are planning to arrive before Friday or stay beyond Sunday.
Food from the clubhouse will start on Friday evening from 5.00pm. Please let me know in advance if vegetarian food is required. There is a real ale pub (The Dyvels Inn) next to the rugby club entrance which serves food as well as an Indian restaurant (The Valley) which is on the railway station platform. Corbridge town centre also has several cafes, pubs and shops. It has one petrol station which is located in a small square at the north end of the bridge over the Tyne. It is open Monday to Saturday 7am – 9pm and Sunday 7.30am – 8pm.
Hexham is the next nearest town. It is larger than Corbridge and has several petrol stations, supermarkets, shops, pubs and cafes.
Corbridge railway station is on the Tynedale line which links Newcastle, Metro Centre Shopping Mall and Carlisle. N.B. not all trains stop at all stations. A timetable will be available at the station and at the reception tent as well as other tourist information and literature.
An organised run around Northumberland from 10am-3pm is hoped to take place on Saturday.
The raffle and rally awards will be on Saturday evening in the clubhouse.
The site has hook up facilities for 6 or 7 caravans next to the clubhouse and hard standing away from the clubhouse for any that require this. Tents will be located on the other side of the site near the river and will have two portaloos (one disabled facility) and a water tap. Please note that the clubhouse will be closed overnight.

Wanted – Centre stand for 1995 Honda NTV650. Mr. Honda san thought it wise to supply these bikes without such an essential piece of kit when he first sold them. Apparently it saved £12 at the time!
Ideally wanted complete with spring and pivot tube but stand on its own would be fine.

July 10th – 12th Mallory Park Bike Bonanza
June has booked a pitch for the club to have a stand at the Bike Bonanza at Mallory Park again. Setting up is on Friday July 10th and anyone showing their bike can camp for free. There will be entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights. All exhibitors get to ride round the track. Of course, there will be tea, coffee and cakes for everyone too as usual. A good weekend of motorcycling for all tastes. Bikes on the track both days, famous people to meet in the paddock and lots of interesting bikes to see in the club stands. Of course, as usual, plenty of tea, coffee and cakes on tap all day.
There is free weekend camping for all exibitors with music in the bar each evening for those interested in a good night out.

I have a load of etz250 parts in my garage that need to go to give room for my newest project
I have:
Frame, wiring loom, airbox, seat, headstock, gauges, ignition switch, fuel tank (very dirty and one big dent), centre stand, bars +controls, brembo master cylinder, LH engine case from an internal oil channel early etz, and numerous other bits scattered about which I would like to see getting used so if anyone would like them they are available for free/ in exchange for some beer. Would rather they go as one lot but if some one really needs something then ill let a few individual bits go. Based in Birmingham. All parts are old and dirty but theres plenty of use left. Frame has good tags but no V5.
