Not sure its correct but when its warm my Super 5 ticks over at about 1500 rpm according to the rev counter. When I cold start it I have to hold the throttle open to keep it running. I have set the tickover as low as 1100 but on my bike it makes running from cold a pain so I have tweaked it up to try to find a happy medium. If you set a comfortable tick over when it’s cold it will be way too fast when its running warm. So as per the instructions I set the tick over when the engine is warm. I am experimenting with leaning off the idle jet air screw to reduce plug fouling. I am not warming it up stationary before I set off but I ride it calmly for a couple of minutes before I start to speed up. Plug fouling has been an issue for me.

Thanks .I have set mine at 1500rpm on counter as advised ..running OK when lights on when revs drop to 1200 ish rpm ..the bike had a mikuni carb fitted when bought 5 weeks ago but was fouling plugs as running to rich ,so I have fitted the original carb to set it back to factory until I sort out the mikuni carb ,have you checked needle setting and cleaned carb ?Denis
