Hello all,
I’ve recently bought a fairly neglected Silver Star Classic, and would like some help with parts. I need a fairly wide range of parts, but for now am looking for information or sources for carb rubbers (inlet and outlet) and wheels. Also, does anyone know how I can tidy up the white powdery surfaces on the engine casing? Finally does anyone know how I can get a centre stand (I’ve seen a couple of SS on YouTube with centre stands), and finally finally, frond mudguard information would also be welcome.

Have you tried the usual specialists who advertise in the club magazine? Furry aluminium? Steel wool and WD40. In future a wipe over with a cloth dampened with WD40 is all you need, unless you remove the engine and spray the alloy with silver engine paint.
