KeymasterI see I’ve been beaten to the first post in the new forum – it’s good to see the enthusiasm!
Please do suggest what you would like to see the forums offering, especially if there are other rubrics that you think would be helpful. That said, unless you can make an extremely compelling case for them, I will be very reluctant to add a forum either for adverts or for club events – in both cases, we already have a solution that both allows individual members to post their own adverts and events, while at the same time making it easy for me to delete them after the event has taken place, or the ad has either been successful or up for three months.

InactiveOne suggestion, and one which applies to newcomers like myself, is to have a picture gallery depicting each MZ model as I for one haven’t a clue about the various MZ models, nor have I found anything similar on the Net.
Another, and I don’t suppose this bothers owners too much, is to publish the numerous paint colour codes of MZ models.
My special will however be in silver (probably) with a panel on the tank on the same dark green found on MZ works 250cc racers, and have an aquaintance in Germany searching for a colour code as we speak. I wonder if the Sammy Miller Museum has a works racer?

KeymasterA picture gallery is an interesting idea, although I tried something similar to illustrate the marque history, and wasn’t able to find public domain images for every model.

InactiveBut there are 209 issues of the club magazine where surely every model has been shown?

KeymasterThere are, and you’re almost certainly right, but I don’t have access to all of them, and only the latest issues will have been produced electronically. If anyone’s out there with a scanner, a stack of back issues and plenty of free time, on the other hand, please do drop me a line…
