In the same boat as you how is your exhaust purchase shaping up? Is it a copy or genuine mz part? a friend has lent me an expansion box don’t think I can live with it ok as a temporary solution, it proved a point that my original is partially blocked I in tend to cut it up to see what goes on inside. I heard that the burwin ones are copies and noisey cannot be as bad and as anti social as this expansion box!! Got any thoughts or recomendations? cheers Mike Taylor

Hi Mike, I have literally just received a silencer I bought from this guy
      http://www.motory.hg.pl/component/virtuemart/niemieckie/mz/mz-etz-251/tlumik-etz-251-detail?Itemid=0
for the silencer with two bracket brackets and the manifold nut and sealing ring including P&P it cost me £122 (app)

I am very, very happy with the quality of the stuff, although it is not an original MZ one (they don’t make them any more) on the end of the silencer it is stamped ETZ 251 – similar ones are for sale at over 150 euros just for the silencer + p&p. you might be able to still get an Original Kanuni one but they are sh**

it too just about five days to reach me from Poland. The only difficult thing was how to pay for it, the guy wanted a bank transfer so I opened an account with CurrenceyFair and instead of paying my bank £22 for the transaction I only paid £3

I would not hesitate to buy from the guy again – hope this helps…Ian

Ian Thanks for the information we have a mzriders meet on sunday so my intention is to talk to other users and then make a decision on what to do. Cheers Mike Taylor oh and I cut my old silencer in half and really could not find anything wrong apart from corrosion not coked up ?
