ES250/2 electronic ignition

Hi all, I have a gorgeous Trophy that runs perfectly and is all original. I’m hoping to make it slightly more practical for touring and wondered about electronic ignition and a 12v conversion.

The advantages I expect would be brighter lights, especially indicators and headlight and perhaps reliable ignition although the original runs just fine as it is

I wondered if there are good arguments to change (and is Vape my best option) or better arguments to stick with the perfectly functional original system and spend my money on petrol, two stroke, nice meals and beer during my travels!

Hi Simon, best thing you can do! I bought an mz-b system well over 10 years ago for my ts250/1. Never had a problem. Just keep the terminals clean and use a good battery.
