Hi, I have a 1972 ES 250 into which I would like to put twin-leading shoe brake. Has anyone built a CB175 brake into an MZ 16″ rim? It would be helpful to know what length and what bend should the spokes have? Can you use the original cable or does one have to be made up specially? Are there any unforeseen problems lying in wait for me? An article for the magazine by someone who has done it would be great.

Hi, I`m in the process of rebuilding a Ts250 Ts 250/1 at the moment.
To fit the Honda TLS front brake I had to reverse the forks around and
if you want to drive the speedo off the Honda hub you will need to have a new
speedo cable made up.
Good luck,Peter
Ps, Had the wheel rebuilt, stainless spokes, supplied and built £75.
Peter, you did well to get a wheel rebuilt with SS spokes for £75.I can do it myself but what I need to know is what length are the spokes and what degree of bend do they have at the point where they go through the hub. I want to put it on an ES250, which will have a whole different set of problems to overcome.
