Can I edit my topic in Forum?

      Just wondering, is there a way to update or edit a topic after hitting the ‘submit’ button?

      Hi Ruud,

      If you view your own post(s), you should find an edit option somewhere on the screen. the other option is to click on the mz riders Club name (top left) and use the dashboard menu to get at your posts.

      Thanks for the information, I have tried, but are getting
      nowhere.I Can not access my post to edit it.It Keeps telling me in a message
      that I am not allowed to edit the post? Thanks anyway.

      Hi Ruud,

      I think the problem may be that you don’t own the post. Was it originally created by someone else?
      I have looked back several months and cannot find anything authored by you. Tell me what is the post title and when was it first created and I will have another look.

      Hi Peter,
      I put the post on the forum site on the 28 June, the title is
      “Bearing (G)Rumbles, and is written and posted by me, It was my first post,
      maybe I have done something wrong? I cant get any posts up at all on the dashboard, it shows the amount of posts, Published and in trash, but wont display anything, thanks for your help,by the way, I personally don’t like computers, but we need them now.

      Hi Ruud,

      I think your problem is something to do with Forum site privileges. If I look at your original post when logged in as an administrator, I get a whole series of options in the line alongside the date of the post including ‘edit’. When i log in as an ordinary member, the only option I get is to reply to a post.

      I have no idea how to adjust that situation, it’s something the webmaster may be able to investigate. For the moment I think all you can do is reply to your own post to alter/update whatever it was you wanted to edit.
