Hi all,
Get a problem with my TS 250, runs ok then cuts out at high and low revs (below 3000, and above 4000) stop for a minute then it starts again and is OK until revs go outside these parameters. It has new condenser, coil, resistor, spark plug and plug cap. Spark is intermittent and weak when there, fuel getting through ok. The battery was new last September 1500 miles ago. Manual says that battery should last around 2 years. I’m going to stick a Multimeter on it tomorrow, but wondering if anyone has experienced a battery failing after this length of time/mileage?, also does anyone know what resistance readings I need when checking the coil (it’s a 6v system).
