Just had a thought about the kickstart problem, this has been mentioned before on the MZ-MUZ riders forum so next time it happens to me I will give the kickstart shaft a light tap with a hammer to see what happens only when it bottoms without engagement, the answer is let it flick back up a couple of times and then it’s usually ok. Buy the way, as you mentioned looking at the clutch if you take the cover off you will maybe need a new gasket, and just to mention I don’t use gaskets if I can avoid them, I use anaerobic sealant, great stuff, (it’s not silicone) and if you don’t know about it I could poke you in the right direction if you want.
