Thanks Andy, much appreciated. Is there any kind of permanent coating treatment that can be applied to the inside? A new fuel tap and filter seem to have been fitted to the tank- would it make sense to remove (and block the hole temporarily) before the nuts and bolts/ fuel treatment? Thanks again, really looking forward to getting out and about on my new (to me) bike!
