James SuttieParticipantI know you can choose your subscription type already, I was thinking of on online, searchable archive of all the club magazines.
James SuttieParticipantThanks for the input Brian, it’s easily doable – let’s hope there’s some interest.
James SuttieParticipantI’m at an impasse with fitting the Tezet system to my Supa 5, I’ve followed the instructions to the letter but the first test without the Regulator/rectifier fitted is not giving a spark. Sensor clearance is spot on. I don’t really understand where, in the above setup it’s recieving power from?
Any advice would be much appreciated.
James SuttieParticipantThanks for the input Derek, I think I’ll try 45:1 and lower revs for the next 500 miles. I was out on it earlier today and it sounds and feels very good.
James SuttieParticipantHi Keith, I’m not a world expert on MZs but I do know, from experience, that it’s easy to get blindsided by the obvious when you’ve spent a lot of time on a project.
Whereabouts are you, can you ask another member to come and look through the bike? If you’re anywhere near Devon, I volunteer myself!
James SuttieParticipantI can vouch for Malcolm’s approach which I’ve applied to my TS250/1 – that and the addition of a Venhill cable has resulted in a very powerful front brake.
James SuttieParticipantHi Gerry, 40 years is quite a while! How much would you like for them, including postage to Devon?
James SuttieParticipantThat’s concerning, I’ve just ordered these https://www.themzshop.co.uk/store/ets250-trophy-sport/steering/handlebars-raised-ets-ts125-ts150-ts250-ts250-1/
James SuttieParticipantMuch appreciated Brian, I’m off out to the garage to do some measuring. I’ll let you know how I get on.
James SuttieParticipantHi Brian and thanks for the reply. If you could find time to measure up the bars I’d really appreciate it.
James SuttieParticipantAlso, can anybody tell me how much higher the high bars are than the standard flats?
James SuttieParticipantSo you’re no longer using points?
James SuttieParticipantBrilliant news – cheers
James SuttieParticipantI’ve had a look at the Mitas tyres and I think I’m going to have to go to an 18″ rim, I want to compete in the MCC Lands End Trial and have to be road legal.

James SuttieParticipantThanks for the tip Max. We’ll need to meet up before too long for a spin through Devon!
