I am having problems starting from cold. I have to try & try. It will try to start but die. After a few attempts if I leave it and return a few minutes later if just manages to start.
Once it has started once, it starts every time, first or second kick.
Once started it runs sweetly.
I have cleaned the carb, moved the needle up and down ( in the 3rd groove from the top now). The fuel is clean & I have replaced the petcock with filter.
The plug us new, the points are set correctly.
When I open the fuel filler cap it feels as if a little pressure is being released, could the cap breather be blocked, restricting fuel flow on initial start up ?
Would this cause my starting from cold problems ?
Any advice much appreciated.
