      Help
Have a ts 250 1975 with @1000 miles on it.
It has been Totally rebuilt and hasa brand new replica BVF carb’ fitted.

Its been running fine but suffers from fuel starvation at full throttle and under heavy load.

Suspect I need to fit a larger main jet?would this make sense?

Have noticed pilot spray jet has clogged a couple of times despite having 2 filters in the fuel line.

      Any ideas anyone?

      any help appreciated

      thanks

      Ben

      Hi there,

Once had this happen to me when my TS250 was brand new in 1976 – turned out to be large paint flakes from where the fuel cap rubbed the tank which then restricted (but didn’t block) the fuel flow inside the tank. Took some bottoming that one…..

Don’t know if this helps, just thought I’d mention it.

      Regards, John
