There are a few standards that pictures must meet to be useable for the calendar. Entries for the 2019 Calendar are now open. You can view the entries so far here Calendar Pictures
Rules for photo submission –
Images You can enter black and white or coloured images. You can enter as many images as you wish.
All entries are sent at the photographer’s risk. No entry can be returned and MZRC does not accept liability for any loss or damage to any images entered for the MZRC calendar. Submission of your image competition constitutes acceptance of all the rules
Size & Format Entries can be submitted as digital images or a scan from a print attached to an email to MZRCregalia@gmail.com as a large size, high quality jpeg in HOREZONTAL, ie. ‘landscape’ format. Write MZRC Calendar Competition in the subject matter. Digital images with date stamp or text embedded cannot be accepted.
Identifying your entry Please send one e-mail per picture with MZRC Calendar Competition in the subject header.
Each entry must have your name in the image caption and the following information in the email (prints should have the information written in pencil on the reverse) 1. Your name, address and postcode, and contact telephone number
- Your MZRC membership number 5. Title of photo and full caption
Entries that are used in the Calendar will be announced in the July/Aug Issue of MZ Rider and on the website.
Judging The entries will be judged by a specially selected panel whose decision is final.
Copyright and Reproduction All images submitted must be the work of the entrant. Copyright of all images is retained by the author, however by entering this competition permission is granted to MZRC to reproduce the images in the MZRC 2017 Calendar and other uses which may include reproduction on the MZRC website, marketing or promotional materials including displays, leaflets and brochures. If your photograph features any person or people, MZRC will assume that the entrant has written permission (or parent’s/guardian’s if under 16) for the image to be submitted to the competition.
