Hi all. New to club, new to mz, new to two strokes almost. Name is Phil. Live Kirkby in Ashfield Notts!  61 and retired. Other bikes are 2016 Bonneville and Honda Nc750x.

just bought a very tidy 1979 ts125 alpine  been recommissioned in 2018 with loads of new stuff  think I got a decent deal at £1300

im having a problem with it  .  It starts ok ish then runs a while then dies and takes an age to get going again  I’ve had carb off and cleaned it .  It’s running new fuel with 30ml oil to 1000 ml petrol.. is that correct?  It’s got the 22n1 carb.any ideas to cause?  Is there anyone with more experience in these machines local ish to me that could assist?  Regards  Phil
