As a relatively old newbie to the marque (ebay barn find), I thought it would be fun to visit the town where this bike was made. Accordingly, I googled “Stroud to Zschopau” in order to go there in the event that I get the bike to go. Intriguingly, on google maps there is a radio button labeled “local attractions”. After two awesome looking castles, the third entry reads, wait for it, “Wookey Hole”. Really ? I haven’t bin to Wookey Hole since 1975 but, as far as I know, it’s still in Somerset.
