MZ Saxon 251, 1993 L Reg. Mot & tax June/July 2012 See pics on right. Sound motor & gearbox. New parts: exhaust, silencer and clamps, chain, air filter, induction tube, clutch cable, front brake lever, speedo and tacho, oil & petrol pipes, seat cover. Mileage from old speedo at MoT 32,000 approx. and hardly used since. Body work and screen all in good shape but original paintwork is touched up by hand. Excellent front Metzeler and rear Conti is OK. Braided brake hose. Converted to points ignition. Starts easily and goes well. Carb needs setting up for better slow running. £500. 1986 ETZ 250. 29,833 miles. Tax to end 07 2012. Test expires Oct 2012. I am the second owner acquiring the bike in October 2006 as a re-introduction to motorcycling. This worked and I now have two other bikes, hence the sale. H4 (car) headlamp reflector, Braided brake hose, hand grip wind deflectors, LED brake and pilot lamps, micro switches for brake light. Rear brake pedal platform added. Tyres are very good, Starts 3rd kick (mostly) from cold and idles at 1300 rpm when warm. Top box, tool kit and all keys. MZ TS250 NVA 1978 Genuine East German Army (NVA) Dispatch bike, (see pics on right) imported by me from East Berlin in 2001. Differences from the std TS250 include: folding footrests, side stand on footrest bracket, raised exhaust, single seats, painted alloy rims, and no chrome! 4 speed motor fitted by the army. Pannier frame, with detachable pannier holder. Modern fusebox and Venhill front brake cable. 4800Kms, good runner. On SORN. I love riding this thing, it's great for London traffic, really poky. ETZ 251 for sale/swop for TS150. that is good and sound like my bike which is a 1989 model, registered 1990 with 30.620 miles, in red and black. Superb condition. Having been completely overhauled. ETZ 251 G reg 12 Volt. Very tidy (see pics on right of page, above the Baghira).) Stored for many years. I bought this because I was restoring my ES Trophy. So i rode it back from Gloucester to Oxford and just a few little adjustments later it was fine.
